Talking I bought two goats!!

I decided to go ahead and get two goats!! We bought 2 does/nannies they are half pygmy and half fainters. They are almost four months old and so cute! They will eat out of our hands but won't let us pet them. I think if I work with them everyday eventually they will let us pet them (I hope!) They are so much fun to watch! They come right up to us but when we try to pet them they run. (They will let my 2yr old son pet them....maybe because he is about the same size?) These goats will be companions for a dairy goat (when I find the right one!) I'll post pictures as soon as I get them developed.

Congradulations! They will get tamer and more friendly as they get used to you, and all goats seem to prefer little kids to big people, as long as the kids are not too rough. Once again Congrats, and welcome to the forum.

Dirty hooves LOL - I regularly show up to work with hoofprints and goat hair on my clothes!
