Anyone in the Kalispell, MT area willing to short-term board?

I need board for one well-behaved gelding for about a week after the event at Rebecca Farm. Haven't had any luck calling boarding stables that are listed on the Internet (nobody calls back!) I'd be open to a private farm too. My gelding is very easy going, gets along with all other horses, not bossy but not a pushover either. Easy to handle, no special meds or supplements.

None. Of the five people I've called, three have not called back, one told me she was full, and one called back a week later to say he was going to be out of town that week.

An old copy (2002) of the overnight stabling directory lists a place in whitefish and in seeley lake.

You would think the event organizers would have an idea or Rebecca Farm would let you stay there for a week. Are you competing with Lederhosen? Have a wonderful time, it's such a beautiful place and a really great event.

I do know of a great place in Deer Lodge that I've stayed with my horses at several times, but thats a couple hours away from Rebecca. Here's the link anyway:

Thanks! Yes, I'm competing in the long format with Lederhosen. We've been having a great season/year! We just completed our first training level event a few weeks ago and two days ago we won the 3' and 3'3" jumpers at a local schoing show. I'm very excited to be going to Rebecca Farm!

Well, anyway, I called a few more places/people (including Rebecca Farm) and still didn't receive any replies so a few days ago I had an idea - I checked to see if there were any fellow Trakehner people in the area... Found one, she called me back within the day, and Hosen is going to stay at her farm! We have a bunch of mutual friends in the Trakehner world and are looking forward to meeting each other in a few weeks. Trakehner people are so great!! I love it! 😃
