I'd stick with good grass hay, alfalfa is high in protein and can cause problems with growing babies.

Have you dewormed her?

that's another question, at what age is safe to begin that?

I had a Vet years ago that recommended deworming at 3 months with something mild and broad spectrum like Panacur and at 5 months with Safeguard so that's what I've always done.

If you have alfalfa, I would mix some in with her grass hay. As Pixie said, it is higher in protein, but it is also higher in calcium, which is good.
