Update ... I'm in trouble again ...

Nobody really thought I was *not* going to end up with this, did they?

Update ... I'm in trouble again ... - Equine

Discussion by phone and email produced an acceptable compromise ... I paid $100 more than I wanted to, owner took $100 less than she wanted to. I still think $400 is a bit on the high side for an unregistered pony with no pedigree but what can I say ... she's the right size for DH's grandkids and she's the color I've been looking for the last several years.

Right now the owner is in the midst of the preparations for the Faisig-Tipton sales in Lexington (she works for the corporation that runs that complex, races/tracks and sales so will be on an all-hours schedule for the next couple of weeks) so will probably be picking the pony up towards the end of the month.

Will get good photos ... or at least better photos ... once she's here. Or if that isn't possible, at least CUTE photos!

I hope she has (or will have) a cute name to go with that face. What a doll!

Well, yes and no. DH's youngest son is a pilot, they live in a NH town and Leonie has been horse crazy since she could talk.

OTOH ... when my daughter and her family came to visit when my grand-daughter was 4 years old. She walked with us out to see the pony and halfway there stopped, picked up her foot and looked carefully at her sandalled foot and proclaimed, "Eeeeooh, horse poop!"

No ... she does not ride!
