Organic methods of worming cattle?

Jim (hubby) heard of a cattleman that uses organic methods of worming cattle. He contains his cattle for a few days and puts vinegar in their water trough. He claims that his cattle test free of parasites. Have any of you ever heard of this method? Do you know of other organic methods for worming livestock? We are trying to get away from all chemical usage with our cattle.
Any help and information will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rosemary

We have been milking Jerseys for almost 2 years...we also wanted to have everything organic and natural as possible...so we did some research and began using DE-FOOD GRADE...It has to be Food Grade and except nothing else...DE like that used in swimming pools will kill your animals...but food grade is great...Google it...Diatomaceous Earth-Food Grade...All our animals are fed it and I use it for fly control and in my nests boxes...MissKitty

I know of someone who does the same thing that Miss Kitty does. I bought something called Golden Blend from Hoegger Goat Supply. They told me it would work for cattle too, but just increase the dose. It looks like rabbit feed or lay pellets. I don;t know how it works, as I haven't had to use it yet.
