how much are weaned calves going for?

in your area?

buying straight from the farm, not an auction. just weaned, black (some mix of angus), 5-6 months old, steer probably. just wondering what the going rate is right now. is it around $1.20 a pound or more than that? I'm in Indiana.

thank you.

Beginning of April in central Illinois I paid $1.21/lb for 330 - 500 lb black heifers. They said that the week before they went for $1.35.
