weight of a jersey

I was wondering if anyone could give me a guesstimate of how much a Jersey and/or a Gurnsey bull would weigh at age 16 months? Also what are they worth? We dont want to get burnt but also we want to be fair. Any answers would be very helpful. Thanks in advance Chris

Intact bull or a steer?

I can get you a guesstimate of a purebred Jersey bull at that month but will need to ask my father first. Ours have tended to be on the larger side.
I think Londonderry made it to that age....Bountiful should have as well.

Rough guess-500 lbs. $300 max. Dad says that is a rough guess. That is beef price. Could be anywhere from 400-800 lbs. depending on how it was raised.

He says add ten percent for the Guernsey. We don't have Guernseys...just Jerseys.
