Selling my Jersey cow
Betsy is a 3 yr old, freshened the 29th of October, she is currently being hand-milked. Healthy, tame and halter broke, we just sent her calf to freezer camp, and she needs a new family. We are low on pasture space or she'd stay. She has no health issues, but when as a first freshener her 4th teat never did function. Maybe a calfhood injury, don't know. She has been in with a Jersey bull, but we're selling her as ready to be bred to your choice of bull.
Will also put this on the Barter board - I hope she can be a family milker, she'd maybe be OK to foster calves, but I've not asked that of her. Southwest Indiana, $1350.
