I don't know what condition the cow is really in but this has worked well for me on both horses and cattle, as well as myself.
Get a truck inner tube that doesn't leak. cut it right at the valve stem and wash it out well with degreasing dish soap.
I don't know if many here use the old style brown liquid Lysol concentrate. Get a couple of bottles of it and mix up a five gallon bucket of it. I use about 3/4 cup in a 4 gallon of hot water. Doesn't need to be exact.
Wash as much of of the leg as you can using the hose. Slip the tube on the leg and wire it above the knee. Pour the Lysol in the other end and wire it up to the leg. Leave it soak about 15 or 20 min.
Repeat that twice a day.
If she hasn't been on LA 200 get her on a course of that.
If she lives, by the time you are done she will either be the tamest or meanest animal alive.
