Transporting across state lines

Hello,
Does anyone know where I could find the laws regarding the transport of cattle from Texas to Arkansas? I know there must be laws, but I haven't been able to find them just doing a search.
Thanks for your help.

I found that when we brought cattle into Canada from the US, it was very helpful to contact several sources. Ken is very right in directing you toward your ag agent, you might want to also contact a vet that is experienced in such matters and we also found trucking companies that specialize in hauling the direction we were going to know a lot of the ins and outs of the system. If you can find a helpful dispatcher, they are worth their weight in gold, it's their business to get the job done right and if everything isn't in proper order, the whole load can be sent back to it's point of origin.

Thanks a bunch

Thanks to both of you. Very good suggestions and I hadn't thought of either of them. I'll try those.

The vet generally knows, especially for a neighboring state.
