Dexter Information Please............

We live in CNY and are thinking about getting a Dexter cow. We raise our own food and used to get a Jersey bull calf every year but are thinking a different direction.
This is a GENERAL question......We would be looking for a bred, hornless cow, maybe a bred cow/calf combination. I KNOW there are many factors to add to the pot but..........please give me price ranges I would expect to pay?

Go to the ADCA website (www.dextercattle.org) and look for the regional director for your area (under "leadership" I think). That person should be able to give you some guidance. Also, pay close attention to the Buyer's Checklist. A registered 3 in 1 (bred cow with calf at side) will not come cheap.
