Pink eye

I recently had a cow that came down with "pink eye" it has gone about a month now and has turned blue... Is there any treatment for it now or is it too late?

No, there is no treatment for it now.
The damage has already been done.
Luckily cattle can generally get along alright with limited vision
especially if it is only in one eye.

I hate pinkeye.

Was it ever diagnosed as pinkeye? Was it treated at the beginning? Sometimes an injury such as a scratch from hay or grass stems can appear like pinkeye. Did the eye ever develop an "ulcerated" appearance, a true pinkeye can cause the eye to rupture and result in blindness. Pinkeye can be spread by flies.

I have a cow with it now also. I tried LA300 3 weeks ago and that cleared 1 eye, but the other eye looks scarred. Had the vet out and did another round of LA300 and puffer for 3 days. It is looking better, but not sure if it's going to clear completely. I think a new horse I brought in a few months ago brought pink eye with him. My other horses got it after he showed up, but they're all fine now.
Hate pink eye too - my 1st experience and hopefully last!
