Lowline Dexter X on CL

Wondering if I could get some advice on if this is a good cross to start a lowline herd. I'll have to find out if the bull was fullblood. That's the only way the calves would be registerable lowline, correct? What are the chances of getting a red calf from these girls?

I asked about another craigslist ad on here about a month ago, but by the time I decided it was a good deal they were gone. I should probably move quickly if this is indeed what I want. It seems like a really good deal.

That's a great deal, if they're guaranteed to be bred!

Thanks!
Here's another ad that seems like a good deal. It would be a long drive, but it seems like it might be worth it. Without knowing a ton about the animals, which would you say is better for someone wanting to eventually have a lowline herd.

If I wanted lowlines, I'd think starting with lowlines instead of some Dexter-lowline crosses would be the way to go.

I'm also pretty sure that if you want to register any of your calves, you are going to need both registered cows and bulls. And, unless you plan on selling registered breeding stock, there isn't really any point in having registered cattle.

Lowlines aren't supposed to be that much smaller than typical cattle, you'd think that they'd be worth more than $1000/head if you just sold them at the stockyards.
