thats red she is my oldest daughters pet calf i bought her at topeka livestock auction in indiana she was red and white when we bought her then she turned black and white i suspect she is a shorthorn jersey cross i have a holstein jersey cross i bought at the same time who is coming along as a nice heifer as well they are both yearlings and i intend to breed to a hereford or lowline angus for their first calves if i can find a reasonable bull if not i have a jersey bull now who is just a little younger than they are they should both hopefully make decent milkers to raise bucket calves

I bought a calf that was bright red and white but turned black and white. She looked a lot like your pet, but her mother was a jersey and her daddy was a Dexter.
