5 mo old heifer calf w bloody vulva

So I walked out to the cows this afternoon and found my 5 month old heifer calf laying in the woods. When I got her up she was moving slow and had a little blood on her vulva. It was not a lot, but a concern. I got her up to the barn, and in the process she was hunching up when she tried to pee/poop. So I'm not sure if she was constipated or if it was some sort of other problem.

The only research I could find had to do with pregnant cows. I plan on taking her to the vet tomorrow.

Appreciate any input.

Is there a chance that a bull could have bred her? Some will come into heat that young.

Do you have a bull?
Are you sure the blood is positively coming from that location?

She may have ate something sharp, like glass or metal and her digestive tract is damaged...Topside

If you have a bull then he may have been riding her and caused some injuries.

If she's in with a bull, that could definitely be the problem if he tried to breed her; even cows mounting a young heifer can injure her back.

I had a young heifer once who developed a urinary tract infection; had to give her antibiotics for 7 days and she recovered completely. She was hunched up and straining.

I'm glad you're taking your heifer to the vet! And please post back after your appointment???
