Good Book?

Can anyone recommend a good book, loaded with information, about cattle? Preferably about beef cattle, and Brahman Cattle? I'm planning on purchasing a Brahman for show, and would really like a book(s) that I can learn about health issues (first aid) with cattle, and basic need-to-know information.
Thank you in advance.

There's a book called Morrison Feeds and Feeding. There are several editions out there. The abridged editions work the best for me.
It has alot about many large animals, poultry and crops for any area of the U.S. It speaks alot about how animals bodies work. It can teach you how to make the best use of the crops that are grown in your area as well as some older ideas that aren't in common use today, but are very sucessful.

You can find it in eBay pretty cheep. The Storey books are usually pretty good also, though I haven't read the beef one.
