Solar fence charger

Can someone tell me a good model solar fence charger. I would like to be up into atleast 6 or 7 joules. I cant seem to find anything that strong. i currently run about 12 joules on my ac charger.

I have not seen many solar chargers that are above 2 joules and they can be pricey. A charger company by the name of Cyclops was offering a fairly high joule charger but I have never used any of their products.

You can get more shocking power by using a battery powered fence charger. If you like, you can then use a solar battery charger to keep the battery charged.

That's what I've done for years.

I use a Parmak solar 12 one....it has worked great for cattle, takes a pretty heavy weed load....it has worked for at least three years, I just turn it to off and leave it out in the sun to keep the battery charged when the cattle are not in there.....once your cows know electric, they are good with about any line...sometimes mine is not even on...of course it is not a perimeter fence....but they are respectful of even a single line...sometimes I think I could use shoelaces strung together...not that I recommend that ...but you don't want the crazy cows anyway.....
