Gitting ready to breed cows

Im going to start breeding my cows when come into heat this time. Moved to a closer padock where can go out early in morning and just before dark and watch for heats. Cought all cows in headlocks tonight chalked thier tail heads to help catch them if i dont see standin heat. I sleaved them all to check for cysts and make sure everything feels in working order. Definatly gitting way to much protien theyre sh~+ing like geese!! Probobly has lot to do with gitting new padocks of foot tall red and white clover every 3 days lol. Now the watch and wait begins and hope catch all in heat this cycle and i do good AI'ing and all settle first time.

Two are first calf hiefers that the calves are taking thier toll on and others are 8-9 one is never very fat more like a dairy cow. She was bought and could be part dairy but she raises really nice calves each yr and breeds back no problems so i keep her around. They get dewormed every yr and get ground corn daily and minerals
