Cleaning meat?

Hey guys, I got me another HLSR show steer, sired by The Irishman, and one for my district show, sired by Who Made Who original, at school in my finale year of HS before vet school!

Today the HLSR steer was de-horned since his 3 inch pokers were being used more and more against me so here comes the vet! Last year he told me for a steer that had little nubs that the meat around it was edible... so I did it. Bad choice since the anesthetics started to numb my mouth This time he gave me the horns but I remember not to eat them. My dog will How can I get the anesthetics out of the meat? I was gonna boil them but dont know if that'll work since each horn was surrounded with 8 shots of the stuff about 5 cc's each.

Another thing to ask. For both de-horning operations my vet has done for me, he throws the horns at me. I stand a good 7 feet back watching but after both my red steers nubs came off last year and just a few hours ago he tossed all horns right at my feet in a bloody mess (cosmetic de-hornings >.< ). Is that just a male vet bashing on a soon to be female vet ya think? I do

I think it would be okay to let that horn meat go to waste, maybe.
Or maybe you could do some dental procedure on your dog while his mouth is numb?

Also, throwing things that are slimy or bloody at people is a major part of veterinary practice.
You should probably work on your aim.

Yah. Huh.... Like GAM sez. You'll have to take your cuisine charms to a cowboy camp. It'll be new even for them, I swear.

You don't eat meat from an animal that is full of anesthetic. For god's sake, don't ever eat the meat from an animal that you've had put to sleep, unless you have "put him to sleep" with a bullet in the brain and not used drugs.

Adding that Rocky Mountain oysters and other body parts off of living animals are only eaten if the animal is docked or cropped or castrated while tied immobile, but not if they have been chemically restrained.
