Looking to Ship Meat as a Business, but need help with Legal

Hi there,
I am interested in starting a meat shipping business where we take our homegrown meat and send it to families across the country. I am wondering if anyone has any experience with the legal requirements for something like this.. I have a feeling there are a ton!!
Any resources you can point me to so I dont do something illegal would be great!

The meat and the packaging facility would be USDA inspected.

U.S.D.A certified. And a dry ice supply.

You would have to check with your state as well.

It would have to be a USDA inspected butcher, which sometimes isn't so easy to find.

Well, I think all butcher shops are inspected, but it has to be certified to sell meat retail.

The farm down the road from us does this. They started with our state department of agriculture and they helped them with all of the regulations.
