Help finding forms for identification and tracking

Hi all -

I'm revamping my farm operations and documentations and I was wondering if any of you good folks could help me find what I'm looking for.

What I would like to find it some sort of form that I could fill out per individual animal that I can use as a "profile" with the typical, identification #'s, description, date of birth, medical history, stuff like that. If anyone knows of a good form I could download I would appreciate it, otherwise I will have to build my own.

Thanks

These are fairly cheap, and could also be used as a jumping off point to design your own:

I use the little record books that ABS or Select Sires gives out for breeding/calving info. For medical, weight, grazing/feed info I use a spiral notebook, new book each year.

Small books in feed truck, notebooks in barn. Seth

Check out the "Kintraks" program. They offer a free version which isn't bad, and the full version is not that expensive (about $18). It works great for all kinds of animals, and they update it periodically.

I originally got it for my rabbits, and now I use if for everything. You can customize each database to read in the manner you want eg. sire and dam, bull and cown, buck and doe etc. It will provide a pedigree for about 7 generations, give you a inbreeding factor for any pairing, provides a "bought from" and "sold to" section.

I may sound like a salesman here, but I am not. I have just found it to be a terriffic program.

If you do get it, back up your databases (there is a different one for each species of animals) to a thumbdrive periodically. Otherwise, if your hard drive fries, you lose the information.

It is sold as a "pedigree" program, but there are spaces for most information one wants to keep, plus some spaces in the record that you can name yourself for information
