Mini cattle

I was wondering if anyone in southeast mo raises mini cattle of any type and their pricing. I have about 3 acres and want cows so if small cattle is all I can put on my little 3 acres than that's what I'll have.

You're in the heart of Dexter country in MO. Many Dexter breeders there, and I'd suggest looking at the ADCA site www.dextercattle.org for breeders in your area. Or you could find the district representative for MO and they'll direct you to some breeders. If you are looking for the smallest of the Dexter breed, you'll want to focus on Dexters that carry Chondrodysplasia. There are some steps you have to take when you have a Dexter with it, but a reputable breeder will advise you of that and also help you later when it's time to have her bred. I'd highly suggest visiting as many farms as you can before you jump in. And remember that cheapest is not always the best deal.
