He's worth beef packer prices at the sale barn. (That's what they're going for in SE OK anyway).

Here's a link to the sulphur springs, tx dairy sale market report. I know it could be different in your area though. My personal opinion is he's probably worth $1.00 per pound.

Or you could lease him to your neighbor for a couple of months and still get to keep him.

i leased a bull out last year and that will never happen again went ok a few times but ended up ruining a good bull he lost 150 -200 lbs for lack of feed and was mean after that ended up taking him to stockyards and running him straight into the packer trailer after he beat the heck out of my pipe stock trailer

A buck a lb wont buy this bull. we'll eat him first hay is plentiful this year here and ill have calves on the ground out of him in the spring before i move to missouri so there is no hurry to sell him

Interesting note my bull from last year threw 22 calves and every one was a bull and all of our goats had doe kids never seen anything quite like it

4 generations of ai doesn't mean anything. Most cull dairy animals now are at least 4 gen ai. What determines his value is the numbers and type behind him. Without knowing that, he's worth meat price.

Around me .60 to .80 per lbs is what I get for an eleven/eighteen month old jersey bull. Most of my bulls go for cleanup/pasture work. But I just run them thru the auction. And I have to sit on my hands sometimes, I’ve seen registered jersey bulls go for .70 a pound.
