Finally
After 5 years and 8 bull calves, we had a keeper. This little heifer is named Mesquite. "Skeeter" is out of 45" Heather and 44" Hercules both AJCA registered and A2A2.
It was 105 degrees when these pictures were taken. I think Skeeter was wishing she hadn't been born a week early.

I would take that oversize halter off the calf before the cow gets her foot caught in it. A broken neck could happen.
