Question fireant stings on cows bag

To make long story short..due to illness someone else was taking care of my milk cow. About three days ago they commented on her back tits were rough......well when I got up their this morning it looks as if she layed in a fire ant bed. The "bites or blisters" are draining "yellowish-clear" liquid. The back half of her bag is pretty much covered in bites and this liquid is scabbed over the bites...she seems fine..but I know that the bites have got to be bothering her some. I am putting a benedryl type cream on her bag...is there anything else I need to do? Thanks in advance.

I don't know but when you find out, let me know. I've got sores all over my feet from ant attacks. I also had them get in with my week old turkeys and kill most of them in what seemed like a few minutes. By the time I heard them and went to see what was the matter, they were covered and most dead. Never seen something so small be so mean!

Apple cider vinegar put onto fresh stings/bites kills the pain and prevent the blisters and itching later on.

I don't know about old stings though.

Honey is a wonderful healing agent you might try on older stings. It seems to speed tissue repair.

We all HATE fire ants!!!!

Just found a nematode that is supposed to kill them so are putting it down this week. Fingers crossed it does what it says on the box!
