Butcher/sale barn

Does anyone know of a good butcher near Decatur, Tx. I am looking for one I can buy half a cow from to last us until our steer is ready. Also I need to find a butcher for him.

Also there is an auction house in Decatur called Decatur livestock market. Does anyone have any experience with this place. Is this the same thing as a sale barn? below is their website.

Sale barn, livestock market, just a matter of terminology. Can't tell you anything about your area personally, check with some local livestock people.

Decatur Livestock is a salebarn/auction. From what i've heard, a good place to buy/sell.

I use a Millsap Processing near Meridian, SW of Ft Worth. They do a great job and sometimes have customers with animals to sell. They can do splits, so you don't have to take a whole animal.

Good luck & happy trails.
