New calf scours question?

Hi
As you know we have a new baby. My question is the baby has bright yellow runs. It does not shoot out but squirts out. Is this normal or do I need to give her something. The calf is up for a short time then is back laying down.
When up seems wobbly but nurses fine. She is just not up and moving around alot. Mom is constantly licking her.
Is this normal?

Up and lively is a good thing. Are the eyes full and glossy as normal? This says hydration is OK too. Do you have an electrolyte pack on hand if you need to step in?

Bret

Yes eyes are bright and lively. I do have electrolyte pack. I did also check her hydration using the tent method and she is hydrated well.
Thanks

If the grass has started growing remember hi-mag mineral for the cow. If he is hydrated it is best to just keep an eye on him and make sure it does not get worst but moms milk is the best for him.

Sounds like normal calf that is getting a lot of mama's good milk! When it turns to a brownish liquid take action. As long as it's yellow and runny it ought to be OK.
