Going to have a calf any day

I am going to have a calf any day now out of Bambi. I am really excited to see what we get. She is a registered Jersey but we bred her to a Montbeliarde. They are a French breed of cattle whose milk is prized after by cheesemakers. I'm really hoping for a heifer but the calf is pretty big from what I can tell and with my luck, it will probably be a bull. He'll be good eating too, I suppose.

Here is a link to the bull we used: Montbeliarde

We are going to use him on our new Brown Swiss cow as well.

Good to hear from you, its been a while.

Should be a pretty calf with lots of chrome.
I will cross my fingers you get a heifer.
Keep us posted.
