Cow coats

I have been making calf coats and kid coats. I had an idea that struck me. Tell me if I'm nuts here. ( Hancock fabric has the water shedding breathable fabric on sale) Is a cow coat an insane idea? Figure it may help cow produce more. Or atleast take off some cold stress off of her

Just an idea is it stupid?

Now,now, I think that if you don't have a shelter, a cow coat might be a good thing to have. I know cows benefit from blankets when they are stricken with ketosis and other conditions. I say, why not?

It's raining here tonight. I have all of the heifers in the barn. The temps are going to drop like a rock. A cow coat might be a nice item to have on hand.

There's been times I would have liked to have one for sick cows, but for everyday use I would say no.

They have calf blankets for winter to keep them warm

So a cow coat for sick cows in the cold wouldn't be a bad thing to have around

I only have 1 home cow. So no one to snuggle to keep warm with.
