Will it keep up?

I am in the process of cross-fencing my pastures for "rotational grazing" as the rye grass is just about ready to be grazed. I have a single wire run separating a 5 acre piece into one acre paddocks. One wire is also connected to the perimeter fence. Everything is insulated. 3 ground rods in. 12 Volt Marine Deep Cycle battery. The works. Question is will THIS solar panel keep the battery charged permanently if i leave it hooked up all the time?

Solar Panel: http://www.wildgameinnovations.com/p...s/sp-12v1.html

thanks, Danny

as long as the panel is capable of running fencer by it self. it will only run on battery at night. If the panel puts out more then the fencer requires it will charge battery and run fencer during the day.

I've used this charger and been pleased with it, it has considerable more power then the on you are looking at. http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...2-00b0d0204ae5 Here it is as a solar model http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...2-00b0d0204ae5 and the 6 volt model http://www.valleyvet.com/ct_detail.h...2-00b0d0204ae5 note that it still has more joule of out put then the one you are looking at.

I prefer the battery powered over the solar, I use what ever battery I have that will hold a charge and expect about 30 days use out of them.

Some body on the alternative energy section could give you a better answer about the solar panel.
