First Calf born on the Lazy B

Our heifer had her first calf today. A bull calf. We passed up watching football hoping to witness the birth and be there if she needed any help. Well 3+ hours after her water broke we went to the house to make some popcorn and grab a beer. Ca
me back to the pen to a newborn calf. Sorry we missed it but oh so happy for a healthy calf and to watch a new mother do everything she is supposed to.

that was the best Christmas Present we could have asked for. And it came early enough that we could go to Moms for Christmas without worry.

What a wonderful Christmas surprise!! And your first calf too. You're definitely blessed. You'll have to name the little fellow something special.
