He ain't a Red Angus, but he sure knows how to pose...."Brisket" is
six months old, and my biggest troublemaker.

Those are gonna be some mighty fine steaks someday! I just sent one to the butcher that got too mean on me. He ended up hanging weight of 452lbs. I thought I'd squeak by and let him breed a couple heifers before banding/cutting but they got too big to take off for my comfort level. I'll see how a yearling jersey bull tastes come next week.

Jersey bull tastes mighty fine! Our last butcher animal was a 2 year old Jersey bull.

That is a fine looking calf.

We butchered a four year old bull last year, you would have thought it was the finest meat around, it sure went fast. > Marc

If you don't want the heifers, hope you offer them for family cows.

I would have paid good money for one, if you were closer. Good milkers, and make good beef calves if bred to beef bull.

And they won't be black, so won't get as hot in the summer.

I have a hereford/jersey bred to a red angus. Had to raise her from a bottle, and it takes a long time to get to milking her.
