New calf

[Jersey/guernsey]

Just wanting to brag, we had a new heifer calf born this afternoon. That makes three heifers and one bull since election day first Copper had Pumpkin then five days later Dandy had DQ, three days after that seven-eleven had power bull and now today Fairy has a little Elf! ! This is her first calf we weren’t going to keep her but the dairy sale isn’t till next week and I wanted to have her close to freshening, and she wasn’t due till the 16th so we thought there was time.
Anyway I think we will keep her, Eleanor our oldest is seventeen and most likely won’t see spring so there is going to be room for one more that will give us five plus the calves.
