Highland Heifer Calf to Give Away

I have a 1.5 week old full blood highland heifer calf that is having to be bottle fed. She is started on formula. I wish I did but I don't have the time to bottle feed her right now. I will give her to someone who knows how to take care of a young bottle calf and has a good home for her. I am located in Marshall County, in North Alabama. She is brown now but will turn black with some redish highlights as she matures.

PM me if you are interested.

It is a slow gradual change. They will have black nose and hooves. Then You will see a black ring around eyes and nose. Then they start turning black. If dark grey nose they will be a dun or brindle.

This what a black one looks like as it is changing.

Oh, so cute! You better let me help take care of her if you get her!

Cheryl makes a good mom. She makes sure that an animal has everything it needs to stay healthy and happy

So jealous! Wish I had enough pasture to offer to take her... But hopefully will at least get to help with her

We have had white But when they roll in mud or dirt for flies they don't stay white. Still have a silver cow.

We are in Boaz, AL and currently bottle feeding an orphan calf. He is about 2 months old now and we are feeding him a mix of replacer and real jersey milk from my sister's cows. If she is still available, please let me know!

I pm'd you as well.

Thanks,
Robin

Hey everyone,

Thanks for all the offers. She now has a new home. The first offer we got was from Museum of Appalachia just north of Knoxville, TN. Sorry it has taken so long for me to let everyone know. But we were out of townw over the weekend.

Thanks everyone.
