Bottle heifer w/bloat?

Hi

My bottle heifer seems to be slightly bloated. She took her bottle....3 pints...
was nibbling on grain & had a bowel movement that looks normal & no temp
Her stomach was making gurgling noises and she was running around, not looking at her side.
When looking at her from the rear, one side does not look larger than the other.
When feeling her stomach on both sides it feels like she is just really full.
I've dealt w/colic in horses but never in a calf. Will a calf have gut sounds when bloating or will there be no sounds like a horse?
I have mineral oil,but that will not do me any good since I have no tube.
Advice please

I would go by how she is acting. Sounds like she is feeling great. If she does get to feeling punky you could invest in a tube feeding outfit to give mineral oil with. Just remember if you give her oil, she will have diarrhea.

I've not listened to a lot of calves, but everytime I rest my ear against the side of acow I hear gurgling. Doesn't sound like any of the symptoms of bloat to me.

The heifer is ok...the stomach does not look bloated at all.
Thanks for all responses!
