How big of area do yall keep steers in when finishing?

Mine to. Hopefully I will have some grass this fall, July was brutal on my pasture.

It depends, if you have three steers and you're only finishing one the obviously they need to be separated. So for me, the one to be finished would be in a 1/2 acre paddock with plenty of grass to graze. If I only had one steer on my property then he'd roam the fields just like he'd been doing his entire life. Topside
