Smile Question for plowpoint ??

I read your postings on Willowgirls "cow personality" thread, that you have thousands of cows. My question for you is what do you find on this web site that either helps you or that you can help. Just a question, not anything serious, or judgemental. > Thanks Marc (just a small time dairy farmer)

there's lots of "big time" ranchers and farmers on HT and if they want to come here and have a much needed conversation (remember most of the big boys don't live anywhere close to town) so much the better for all. I am by no means an expert rancher even though i've had my herd for 20 plus years and been helping with my familys cows for going on 50 years, I still learn a thing from tinknal, agman, ksredman, oxankle, myersfarm, and the lady up north-radina I think thats her handle as well as the little guys. I know your not being judgemental but the big guys like to talk and share, and they put their pants on one leg at a time just like you.

Thank you rancher1913 for talking for plowpoint, I know there are some larger operators on here. I said nothing about him coming on here just to read a few threads if he wanted. I just figured this may not be anything a big operator like him would be interested in. But he hasn`t said yet what he likes about this site, I don`t care if he`s got 5000 cows or one cow, makes no differance to me. And yes I bet he puts his pants on like you and I, but not everyone puts their pants on the same. Some may put on the left leg first, some the right, and some may put them on like a firemen rolled down over their boots and jump into them both feet. I never judge people by how much money they have, I know some very poor people that are some of the happiest you will find. And I know rich folks that are very unhappy. I was just wondering what would make a big dairy like HT ?? Thats all, nothing more, nothing less. > Thanks and God Bless America. > Marc

I thought Plowpoint was raising sheep. At least that's what his post about clearing his land says... Guess I haven't paid that much attention to all his posts.

Ok, so the dairy farm that has thousands of cows is not his ?? But is owned by someone in his Family ?? And I know he must have read this as I see he posted about something else the same day I put this on here. Guess he is not going to answer me, so I will just have to assume. > Thanks anyway > Marc

Frankly, as a newbie on lots of farm animals, I am thrilled to have the expertise of experienced ranchers and farmers on my little questions. Some people just like to help others!
