would a bull cure the infighting

So I just added 2 purebred lowline yearling heifers to the herd. After the first round of pushing I thought they would be done. But no the newbys are still getting pushed around.
So I need to get a bull anyways would he put a end to it all or just add to the drama??
Also anyone have the need to add a 3 month 3/4 lowline to their herd??
Steve

What is it that is 3 months old?

The yearlings are going to be at the bottom of the pecking order for a while; as long as they have plenty of pasture, it shouldn't be a problem. When you start to feed hay at a hay ring, they will get pushed out and then it could become a problem. If you feed grain, you may want to feed the younger ones separately to be sure they get their share. I have found that once the heifers have a calf, they move up in status and become equals, more or less.

A bull may or may not put a stop to the infighting. If a heifer's in heat, the older cows probably won't interfere, but the heifers are likely to be second class citizens for a while.

My experience with bulls is that they stay out of hierarchy adjustments of the cows. It's not their problem.

You will have one top cow every one moves when she says move. And two or three under her then the bull and everyone else calves even get preference depending who they belong to in the herd.Till they can give as good as they get there will be pushing.
