Today ultrasounding cows for pregnancy. Also worming and vaccinating calves. Good hands on Animal Science and Pre-vet program...Some students live in the white farm house....Just thought I'd share a few photos...Topside

Topside,

Thanks for the pics. I've never before heard of sonogram for cattle.

One of my least favorite jobs is tagging and vaccinating. If you get done over there and still feel a need to do some more cows, come on over.

Is that you in the pictures or were you behind the camera?

Me either Tom, probe into the rectum, lots of lube, much quicker and the computer can give you approx. age based on the results....amazing. Legs, ribs, head, umbilical etc.

I particularly enjoy the fact that the sonogram machine is splattered.

How many head did you all work up? Looks like a nice facility.

the new sonogram for cattle goes on the vets wrist with a little screen on wrist....we are talking really high tech here..somebody say DICK TRACY
