Look at americandairymen.com
When I looked, they had a milking devon (Heritage Breed) for sale in Larkspur, Colorado. About 43 mi. South of Denver.
Maybe you can find one closer or put a want to buy ad in there.

Have you tried contacting any of these farms?

CO Real Milk

CO Raw Dairies
Rose's Isle Farm

This is how I usually find a cow - by calling dairies. The best cows aren't often advertised "for sale"!

I have tried contacting the dairys in the Tex. panhandle in Dalhart where most of them are in this country but they say the have a company that buys for slaughter, and the rest are sold to persons that they know. I have contacted them but haven't been able to make a deal as they seem unreliable....I tried to reach some in Kanses but they won't give me the time of day. I am told they don't like people visiting the dairys becuse they could bring in diseases..I have watched craigs list but most there are way too high for my budget or real culls that I have questions about.....

Take a look on this forum:

Keeping A Family Cow - Home

Haven't looked at it lately but they get a lot of traffic and I've seen lots of family milkers for sale there in the past.
