Rubber boots and spring skirt, a combo I am well familiar with.
I will sometimes wear a dress w/ my boots to milk over 100 head during the summer and I always get razzed for it.
I think the guys are just jealous becasues they cant get that kind of ventilation.

Does she lead well, the Mini Coop?
You have the full range of sizes going on now from Norman on down to this one.

I shake my head at mini cattle, personally. I just dont see why.
It is good for me to think outside the standard realm though.
She is freaking adorable, but I would worry about joints and possible chrondo/dwarfism offspring issues.
I admit that I am not very educated about the genetics of these mini cows.

Variety is the spice of life though, right?

farmgirl6, she is truly tiny! Looks like you have a very nice setup there to care for your animals. Oh, and when I saw the first photo, I thought you had some complex tattoos on your legs...then I realized it was just the boots, ha ha!

I agree, a summer dress is the greatest thing, cool, keeps the flys off your legs as it moves, just have to gather when stepping through a fence! I made my hubby take a quick pick as soon as I got home from work before he got settled in for the evening. Mini is starting to lead pretty well, better even than Annabelle who has been halter broke since she was a baby but lots of attitude. I do have the full range, Norman is freakishly large

thanks, that is very nice of you to say...I live in an extremely nice neighborhood with lovely huge homes on each side who did not have the good sense to change the zoning before I moved in to my smaller, older house squeezed in the middle (the neighbors to my left have an elevator and pool, to the right a seven car garage with a glass wall: and then there is me, Elie Mae Clampet, slap dab in the middle) not to mention a type A personality hubby who doesn't even like animals, so to be nice I do make an effort to keep the place looking more like a petting zoo than a farm and and I've only a little over three acres total so it take judicous management of my facilities to keep it from running to seed. I do love my critters, down to the last raggedy little chicken running about! it keeps me sane in this crazy world!

Well gal, your place fits right in in my opinion! You are there to educate those around you of what farm animals really are and where they come from! Duh! LOL! And that not all farm animals are nasty critters who live and wallow in mud. See...you are an educator!
