I'm interested in getting some Dexter cattle, I'm located in NW Missouri would possibly drive 150 miles or so (price of gas limits travel) if you have any please email me, If you like to barter I have a tractor, lawn tractor, hog farrowing crates, deer rifles, ect.... Do your homework -- read as much as you can on the ADCA website, paying particular attention to genetic issues and buyer's checklist. Talk to as many owners as you can and visit as many farms as possible to get an idea of what you want (or don't want).

I am in Southeast Iowa (wrong side of the state, I know!), but I have a 10 month old polled dun Dexter heifer for sale - she is registerable (registered parents) but we haven't done that yet. She's been pasture raised and hasn't been handled a lot, but isn't "flighty" so to speak. She comes right up to the feeder with everyone else and doesn't seem to mind me patting her over the fence. Her dam was the same way and I got her tamed right down for milking fairly easily.
