Recommendations for Organic/non-GMO feed and seed?

We would like to feed our beef cows non-GMO feed and I was wondering if you have any recommendations. I see that there are several companies that sell it, but wanted to get some opinions on which ones might be best. We are in north Alabama and there doesn't seem to be anyplace near us, so shipping would be a factor. For the most part our cows are on pasture and hay, the feed is more of a training tool and treat for them.

I am also interested in recommendations for non-GMO grass seed for pasture forage. I remember reading that they were coming out with GMO alfalfa, but can I assume that all the normal pasture grass seeds are non GMO?

Thanks for your input!
Robin

I'm not sure where you are but look into Countryside Natural feed in VA-maybe have it shipped or find a local retailer?

Countryside has regular routes that they deliver to. If you call them, ask them what the closest place is to you that they regularly deliver to, then ask them if they will deliver your order there for no shipping charge.

Thanks - I have seen Countryside and it appears they have a distributor in Guntersville, AL which is not too far from me.

Do you use their products and are you happy with them?

I tried some organic feed a while back (cant remember which company), but the cows didnt seem to like it and there was a lot of corn, which they pooped out whole, so my impression is that they were not getting much benefit from the feed.
