Photographer looking for cows

I am a photographer working on a photo book about everyday life of cows. For quite a while now I have been trying to find someone who are using a Daisy Cow Lifter (or similar). I would love to take a picture of that. I have called several retailers, but they say they are not allowed to give out contact information to their customers, which is fair enough. I live in LA but I might travel anywhere. (Somewhere in California would be great though). Does anyone know someone? Or do you know of something else that you think might be relevant for my project? Anything involving cows is of interest, but what I am looking for now is more like special situations we put our cows into. Like someone using cows in unconventional ways, doing performances, riding cows, anything with a witty twist is great. It might also be of interest to portray a cow that has something "special", like an extra leg, a rare look of any kind. I have also read about dress-up contests, but have not found anyone in time to get there... I have of course visited a few country fairs, World Dairy Expo etc, and that is great. I will need to do a bit more on such events too. What is important is that I find live cows – things like funny sculptures/statues of cows is not relevant.
