Question Are jerseys fast growing?

I know it depends a lot on the lines but as a breed, are jerseys fast growers?

I agree also, I think they can be rather slow to mature. We don`t breed till their almost two just to get a liitle extra growth on the heifers. > Thanks Marc

They sexually mature fairly young. They can come into heat as early as 6-9 months. They are not big enough to breed at that stage though.
They are not the fastest grower and they do not put on meat like a beef breed does, nor like a Holstein or the like does either.
