Necessary tools for AI?

Now that I am thinking about AI classes and such it got me to thinking about the cost of the AI equipment. What AI equipment do I actually need and about what am I looking at cost wise? We will only have about 15 cows tops ever and then about 8 goats so didn't know if that made any difference.

Do you have any friends or neighbors nearby that have any AI equiptment or anyone near that is looking to do some AI themselves?

Your tank and Nitrogen recharge will be your biggest expense. Myself and two of my neighbors/friends share a tank and split the cost of the nitrogen 3 ways. That works pretty well for us, but we all get along well and we all calve at different times of the year and don't live to far apart so there are never too many issues on timing and who has the tank. That would be my first suggestion.
