Cute!

Don't ya love it when you put a newborn calf in the milkhouse to warm up, and later discover it on its feet, playing "find the udder on the bulk tank"? LOL

Haha...or sometimes we have them get out of their pen/house and find them playing that game with the tractor.

Or what's aggravating is when they play that game even after several times of having been bottle-fed; they ignore you standing there with the bottle and play the game in the back of their house, whipping their tail back and forth and mahhhhing for milk.

Yes! They even close their eyes and there is no choice but to climb in there and get their attention.
It's like they start nursing before they have the bottle in the mouth.
Aggravating for sure. LOL

The last calf I left in the milkhouse totally rearranged the room overnight.
Did you know the big sink comes off the wall? Well, it does now.

How can something so little and new make such a huge mess?

Oh yeah!

I read somewhere that all that stumbling around they do helps to knock the birth slime loose from their lungs, that it's actually beneficial. I sure hope it serves some purpose, besides making an awful mess.
