I am. Low input is the only way to go, imho. They're having the fall bull sale on the 7th, I'm interested to see what they go for.

I think "fan" is a little strong, but I definitely respect what Kit Pharo has been able to accomplish in the industry.

I have followed the evolution of his program since the early 90's when I became aware of him thru the Tarentaise association. He has shifted his program away from pure Tarentaise but still uses some influence in the composites. Although the composite bulls in the sale catalog were only 1/4 Tar and I wonder if that is enough to influence their daughters, who would only be 1/8? I always felt it was a real testament to the Tarentaise cows who tend to be heavy milkers that they could last in his program.
