Rice Bran

I know different areas all seem to feed different things...... I have a bag of Rice Bran left over from a horse that I was rehabbing.... I have been mixing it with the cows beep pulp and dairy text that they get while being milked. Has any one ever fed this to cows, any good or bads? I am just giving them a small amount about 2 cups mixed in with the beep pulp and soaked. The cows seem to really like it. It worked great on putting weight on the horse, so I am wondering if I should consider to keep feeding it?

Have fed several semi truck loads to yearling calves that I overwintered. They did good on it. What I fed was the pelleted 9-9-9 rice bran.

I've dumped rice bran powder over show calf feed for years. You have to go at it sparingly. It's usually high protein and HIGH, HIGH fat. Too much of it and they'll be shooting it over the barn!
