Talking Got our mini hereford today

We traded our pony for a mini hereford today. The family who delivered her was soooooooo nice. We are glad our pony is going to such a good home. The heifer is TINY! OMG...her dam died from a probable rattlesnake bite; they said she died in 4 hours and swelled all up. I don't know when the dam died but this calf will be a yearling in December. I'll post pics or video tomorrow. We put her in the livestock trailer for the night so we could vaccinate and tame her down. She appears to be in really good flesh. My daughter named her Mabel. Did I say how tiny she was? She is tiny!

Oh for goodness sake, I love her long white eyelashes.
She is just as cute as a button.
I'd say you made a good trade.

But can you believe she's 10-11 months OLD? She is soooo little!

Yes she is very small. She has that 'mini' look about her. It is not quite the same proportions as the standard cattle have.

I bet she will be just as useful as any pony, in the long run.

WAY good deal! I think the smallness would be a superior trait in the mini industry also! Looks like you got a HIGH quality product there! I think she is proportioned real well also! Congrats!
